If I had the opportunity to choose one superpower, I would like to have the ability to read other people's minds, because I think it's a feature you can use all the time without being noticed. It would be also helpful for me to get to know people better, just as they really are or feel. Actually, I believe that as teachers you could do a more effective work with your students, to approach to each one of them in a different way according to their personalities. For example, if they're shy, this superpower would give me the chance to understand why the act in a determined way.
I definitely would not like to have inmortality as a superpower. The main reason is that what I value the most about life are it's cycles, the changes you go through are the ones that make you grow. I don't see death as a negative aspect of life, but as a necessary chapter to deal with. I do think that is worst to watch all my beloved persons dying and stay alone forever.
